Purpose-built technical systems

We engineer around the mission, workload, and operating environment

TIERS Technical Systems designs and integrates specialized computing and equipment for digital forensics, cybersecurity, AI/GPU workloads, secure business operations, evidence storage, field acquisition, and technical exploitation. The value is not the component markup. It is the engineering, validation, hardening, documentation, and integration around what the client actually needs to accomplish.

Built as a solution

From requirements to a documented, validated system

TIERS Group can source, assemble, configure, burn-in, benchmark, harden, document, ship, and support a system as one project. Where appropriate, we can also integrate third-party forensic hardware, networking, storage, racks, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment, displays, and lab accessories.

Build-to-order model: configurations are engineered after scope and budget are understood. Components and third-party products are purchased for the approved project rather than carried as speculative inventory.

Typical build package

  • Approved bill of materials
  • Component serial and asset inventory
  • Firmware and basic input/output system (BIOS) baseline
  • Operating system baseline
  • Memory, storage, processor, and graphics processing unit (GPU) validation
  • Thermal and burn-in results
  • Security configuration summary when scoped
  • Recovery and support documentation

Product families

A simple way to start the conversation

Product-family names describe the intended workload, not a fixed retail configuration. Final processors, memory, GPU, storage, chassis, networking, redundancy, accessories, and support are engineered per project.

How it works

Simple client experience. Disciplined engineering process.

  1. 1

    Requirements discovery

We capture the workload, applications, data volume, connectivity, environment, security needs, quantity, budget range, and deployment timeline.

  2. 2

    System engineering

TIERS Group converts those requirements into a balanced configuration with expansion, lifecycle, cooling, power, storage, and support considerations.

  3. 3

    Proposal and approval

The client receives a scoped configuration and commercial proposal. Build-to-order hardware is procured only after the project is approved under the applicable payment terms.

  4. 4

    Build and burn-in

The system is assembled, firmware is updated, hardware is validated, and stress, memory, storage, thermal, and workload-appropriate tests are performed.

  5. 5

    Configuration and hardening

OS, drivers, storage, networking, encryption, security controls, and client-approved software are configured where included in scope.

  6. 6

    Delivery and support

TIERS Group provides documentation, shipment or installation, handoff, and optional ongoing support, upgrades, and lifecycle services.

Why TIERS Group

Technical experience applied to the equipment itself

Workload-first engineering

CPU, RAM, GPU, storage, networking, cooling, power, and expansion are selected around the actual workload rather than a generic high-end parts list.

Forensic and cyber context

Systems can be designed around the workflows TIERS supports in digital forensics, eDiscovery, cybersecurity, and technical exploitation.

Security-aware delivery

Secure Boot, TPM, encryption, BIOS/UEFI controls, account posture, endpoint controls, and hardened baselines can be included where appropriate.

Documented validation

Build records and test results create a more professional handoff than an undocumented custom PC assembled for general use.

Integration, not just assembly

Storage, networking, third-party hardware, displays, UPS, racks, and lab equipment can be planned as one environment.

Lifecycle support

Upgrade, storage expansion, replacement, configuration, security review, and recurring support can continue after delivery.

Third-party compatibility

Designed to support professional tools without pretending to be the software vendor

TIERS Group can engineer systems around client-specified software and third-party hardware requirements. Software licenses, vendor subscriptions, restricted forensic capabilities, and third-party warranties are separate unless specifically included in the TIERS Group quote.

Vendor neutrality: references to third-party products describe compatibility targets or client workflows. They do not imply affiliation, endorsement, certification, or resale authorization unless separately documented.

Examples of integration targets

  • Digital forensic processing suites
  • eDiscovery processing and staging
  • Graphics processing unit (GPU) password-recovery workloads
  • Virtualization and isolated cyber labs
  • High-speed evidence storage
  • Write blockers and acquisition hardware
  • Technical exploitation bench equipment

Common questions

Before a build begins

Does TIERS Group sell fixed retail configurations?

The initial model is build-to-order. TIERS Group can develop reference configurations, but the final bill of materials is matched to workload, budget, availability, lifecycle, and deployment requirements.

Can TIERS Group install forensic or cybersecurity software?

Yes when the client owns or purchases the required license and the license terms allow the installation. Restricted or controlled capabilities remain subject to the software vendor's eligibility and licensing requirements.

Can systems be shipped nationwide?

Many workstation and server projects can be engineered, built, tested, and shipped remotely. Larger storage, rack, lab, or multi-system deployments may benefit from on-site installation or coordinated local support.

What warranty applies?

Component manufacturer warranties and any TIERS Group workmanship/support terms will be stated in the final quote or engagement documents. The website does not create a warranty or purchase contract.

Can TIERS Group upgrade an existing workstation or lab?

Yes. Upgrade and integration work can include memory, storage, graphics processing unit (GPU), networking, backup, rack, power, security configuration, and replacement planning when the existing platform is suitable.

What happens if a component becomes unavailable?

Availability can change between engineering and procurement. If an approved component cannot be sourced, TIERS Group will document the issue and propose an equivalent or better substitution for client approval rather than silently changing the build.
