TIERS FX
Forensic Workstations
Purpose-built systems for demanding digital forensic processing, analysis, eDiscovery preparation, password recovery, and evidence-intensive workloads.
TIERS FX family
Forensic workstations engineered around evidence throughput
A forensic workstation must keep processors, memory, scratch space, evidence storage, graphics processing unit (GPU) resources, and input/output (I/O) balanced under sustained workloads. TIERS Group designs the system around the tools, case sizes, concurrency, and expansion requirements of the team using it.
Processing & Analysis
High-core-count CPU options, large memory capacity, fast scratch/project storage, and sustained cooling for long evidence-processing jobs.
Storage Architecture
Separate OS, application, scratch, case, cache, and evidence tiers can be designed to reduce bottlenecks and simplify expansion.
GPU Acceleration
GPU resources can be sized for supported analytics, password recovery, AI-assisted workloads, and other compatible acceleration use cases.
High-Speed I/O
10/25-gigabit Ethernet (10GbE/25GbE), Universal Serial Bus (USB), Thunderbolt where appropriate, Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) expansion, Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) capacity, and interfaces selected around acquisition and storage workflows.
Expansion & Serviceability
Chassis, power, cooling, slots, bays, and memory capacity are selected with the expected lifecycle and future upgrades in mind.
Validation
Memory, CPU, GPU, storage, thermals, sustained load, and workload-appropriate benchmarks are documented before delivery.
Workflow compatibility
Designed around the software and evidence environment you actually use
Configurations can be engineered around client-specified forensic, eDiscovery, password-recovery, and review-preparation workflows, including products from Magnet Forensics, Cellebrite, Exterro/FTK, OpenText EnCase, Passware, and other vendors when licensing and technical requirements permit.
Configuration inputs
- Typical evidence volume per matter
- Concurrent processing requirements
- Application and database workloads
- GPU use cases
- Local vs network evidence storage
- Portable vs fixed deployment
- Expansion horizon
